Request-For-Comment (RFC)
When running an RFC channel it is important we stick to the standardized channel and thread structure in order to minimize clutter from the discussion, and simplify the governance process.
Every RFC channel will only ever include 4 or 5 messages, which are all posted by the RFC's main author. Members can discuss the RFC in the thread.
It will follow this structure:
Proposal Details: Provide an overview, context specific sections, and questions for RFC (i.e. which aspects of this proposal do you want specific feedback on).
RFC Discussion Thread: Using Discord's thread feature, create. a thread where anyone can add their input and the RFC questions can come to their natural conclusions.
Vote To Proceed: Using Discord Emojis, vote on specific factors of the proposal which were brought up in RFC in order to get the final parameters for the on-chain proposal.
Tribeca Vote: Link the proposal on Tribeca for people to vote.
We suggest using chatGPT to convert your idea into a message with heading using markdown. Advisory Board members will be there to guide you as you run an RFC channel.
