How to Create a Proposal on Tribeca

Once your proposal passes the RFC phase, it will be clear the specific details related to the proposal that people are comfortable putting on-chain. At which point you can create a proposal in 5 steps:

Step 1: Enter Create Proposal Page

Navigate to the proposal tab of our Tribeca DAO (https://tribeca.so/gov/sdust/proposals) and click the highlighted plus symbol shown in the screenshot below:

Step 2: Select Memo Under "Proposed Action"

For now we are only using memos to inscribe our proposals on-chain for anyone to see. In the future treasury payments, and other complex transactons will be made possible to propose from this screen.

Step 3: Write Your Proposal

Remember to use markdown notation to add appropriate heading and sub headings, and keep the proposal within the max character count. Only include the key points from RFC.

For now, simply type "https://forum.solien.io/t/" for the link to discussion. We used to pay for a forum website on our old domain which has since been deprecated.

Step 4: Review and Sign

If you're happy with how the proposal preview looks, simply click "Propose Transaction" and sign using your wallet. After this the proposal will need to sit for 24hrs before it can be activated.

How to Vote on Tribeca

The first step to voting is to get a veSDUST balance set in your Locker, this is what counts as your vote and ownership amount in the DAO.

Follow the steps here to learn how to lock your SDUST.

Once you have some veSDUST, you can only vote on active proposals (see example below).

The first step is simply to enter a proposal and click "Cast Vote"

This will bring up your ballot for this proposal, feel free to vote or abstian and provide a reason if you wish.

After this click "Cast Vote" and sign the transaction - and boom - you've participated in governance!
